Open Tenders

MangustaRisk Ltd, a financial advisory firm for institutional investors, has issued a search on behalf of an Italian Pension Fund for closed-end alternative funds with a focus on Italian Private Equity and International Private Equity.

The Pension Fund is looking to invest approximately Eur 330-350mn in AIFs.

Characteristics of the search:

• Closed-end Fund compliant with 'AIF' Definition (as in AIFMD Directive 2011/61/UE);


• Currency of the share class: Euro, USD or GBP;


• Geographical Focus:
• Italian Private Equity: at least the 50% of the target portfolio companies must be resident or with a permanent establishment in Italy;
• International Private Equity: no specific geographical focus is requested;


• The AIF is currently fundraising or will be by Q1 2026.

In order to participate in the selection process, it is necessary to register on the Nexus Alternative platform (https://mangustarisk.nexusalternative.com), using the tender code MRPE0825, and complete the questionnaire.

Participants must also upload the following documents in the dedicated area of the platform:

1. The Limited Partnership Agreement (if the final version has not yet been approved, a draft version is acceptable; alternatively, the LPA of the previous vintage may be submitted);


2. The Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) or Offering Memorandum (if the final version has not yet been approved, a draft version is acceptable; alternatively, the documents of the previous vintage may be submitted);


3. A pre-filled Due Diligence Questionnaire (preferably following the ILPA or INREV standard);


4. The AIF presentation (preferably in compliance with the Invest Europe Professional Standards);


5. The most recent available financial statement (e.g., as of December 2024) for the two previous vintages of the AIF (if applicable);


6. If this is a new strategy, please provide the latest financial statement of the most comparable AIF.

If the fund is in the pre-marketing phase, draft documentation may be submitted.

The questionnaire and the related documentation must be submitted by 11:00 AM (UTC +1) on August 25, 2025.

Please note that completion of the questionnaire on the dedicated platform is a prerequisite for evaluation.
